Unless expressly stated otherwise, the businesses featured
throughout the Village are independently owned and operated
and are responsible for their own products, services,
transactions, policies, and customer relationships.

WHAT WE DO
The Role of The Chix Vendor Village
The Chix Vendor Village provides a space where visitors can
browse participating businesses, learn about vendors,
view promotional content, discover products or services,
visit external shops, participate in Village activities,
and connect with small businesses.
The Village may provide storefront pages, business listings,
directories, vendor spotlights, event features, promotional
opportunities, community activities, and links to independent
vendor websites or shopping platforms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Chix Vendor Village
does not sell, fulfill, ship, manufacture, or warrant products
offered by independent Village vendors.

EVERY SHOP IS ITS OWN BUSINESS
Independent Vendors
Vendors featured within The Chix Vendor Village are independent
businesses unless specifically identified otherwise.
Participation in the Village does not create an employment,
partnership, agency, franchise, joint venture, fiduciary,
or ownership relationship between The Chix Vendor Village
and a participating vendor.
Vendors independently control matters such as:

WHEN YOU MAKE A PURCHASE
Purchases Are Made With the Vendor
When a shopper clicks a vendor's website, online shop,
marketplace page, social media storefront, payment page,
or other external shopping link, the shopper may leave
The Chix Vendor Village website.
Purchases made through an independent vendor are transactions
between the shopper and that vendor.
The applicable vendor is responsible for:
Payment Processing
Order Confirmation
Shipping
Delivery
Tracking
Returns
Refunds
Exchanges
Damaged Items
Customer Questions
The Chix Vendor Village is not ordinarily the merchant of record
or party to a transaction between a shopper and an independent vendor.

BEFORE YOU ORDER
Review the Vendor's Policies
Each independent vendor may establish their own policies
regarding orders, processing times, shipping, refunds,
cancellations, exchanges, custom products, digital products,
preorders, damaged merchandise, or other business matters.
Shoppers should review the vendor's current policies and
product information before completing a purchase.
Village-wide membership or community policies do not replace
the individual sales and customer-service policies of
independent vendors.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Products, Services & Vendor Claims
Product and service information appearing within the Village
may be supplied by participating vendors.
Vendors are responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety,
labeling, quality, description, availability, pricing,
and representation of the products or services they offer.
The Chix Vendor Village does not independently test,
inspect, certify, authenticate, manufacture, or guarantee
every product or service offered by participating vendors.
Please use appropriate judgment:
Shoppers should review product descriptions, materials,
ingredients, sizing, safety information, age recommendations,
warnings, usage instructions, and vendor policies where
those details are relevant to a purchase.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
Product Safety
Participating vendors are responsible for ensuring that
their products and services comply with applicable laws,
regulations, warnings, labeling requirements, and safety
obligations.
The Village may take action when it becomes aware of a serious
safety concern or significant policy violation, but inclusion
within the Village should not be interpreted as an independent
safety certification or guarantee.
Concerns regarding the use, suitability, ingredients,
materials, allergens, age appropriateness, or safety of
a specific product should be directed to the applicable vendor.

INFORMATION CAN CHANGE
Pricing, Availability & Accuracy
Vendor prices, inventory, products, promotions, processing times,
shipping information, policies, and other business details
may change without corresponding immediate changes to
Village promotional pages or listings.
The vendor's current website or sales platform should generally
be treated as the most current source of information regarding
that vendor's products and transactions.
A listing within the Village does not guarantee that a product,
service, promotion, discount, or vendor remains available.

FEATURED DOES NOT MEAN GUARANTEED
Vendor Inclusion & Endorsement
The Chix Vendor Village may review businesses for participation
and may maintain standards for vendors who join the Village.
However, inclusion in the Village, a vendor spotlight,
Founding Member badge, featured placement, promotional post,
event appearance, award, badge, or other recognition should
not be interpreted as a guarantee regarding every product,
service, transaction, claim, or business practice of that vendor.
Likewise, linking to a vendor does not mean The Chix Vendor Village
has independently verified every statement appearing on that
vendor's external website or sales platform.
Customer Disputes

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Orders, Refunds & Customer Disputes
Questions or concerns about an independent vendor's order,
payment, product, shipping, fulfillment, refund, return,
exchange, or customer service should generally be directed
to that vendor first.
The Chix Vendor Village is not a payment processor,
marketplace dispute service, court, law enforcement agency,
or substitute for a vendor's own customer-service process.
The Village is not required to resolve private disputes
between shoppers and independent vendors.
Serious concerns are different.
The Chix Vendor Village may review reports involving suspected
fraud, counterfeit products, significant safety concerns,
deceptive practices, serious policy violations, or repeated
complaints suggesting a broader Village policy concern.
Reviewing a report does not guarantee a refund, replacement,
legal determination, or particular action against a vendor.

WHEN YOU LEAVE THE VILLAGE
Third-Party Websites & Platforms
Vendor storefronts may link to websites and services operated
by third parties, including independent websites, Shopify stores,
Etsy shops, social media platforms, payment services,
or other marketplaces.
The Chix Vendor Village does not control those external platforms
and is not responsible for their availability, security,
privacy practices, accessibility, content, policies,
fees, technology, or operations.
Use of an external website is subject to that website's
applicable terms and privacy practices.

No Guarantee of Individual Transactions
While The Chix Vendor Village aims to create a positive,
welcoming, and trustworthy small-business community,
no online directory or marketplace can guarantee every
individual transaction.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law,
